Public transport: There are two international airports in Belgium. The larger of the two is the Zaventern, which is located just 9 miles from Brussels. The other airport the Deurne is close to Antwerp; however its flight destinations are very limited, as there are only flights to Amsterdam, Liverpool, London and Dublin. The rail and bus system throughout Europe is superb and it is possible to travel by train to Belgium from any of the other main European cities. Eurolines and Hoverspeed Citysprint offer services to and from Belgium. Belgium is a very easy country to navigate because of its small size and hiring a car to get around is the best option. Belgium also offers a very efficient rail and bus service. The fastest option is the Intercity train service. Each of Belgium's main cities are easy to drive around and also have a very good public transport system with trams and a metro system in both Brussels and Antwerp. Brussels cities also have a lot of pedestrian areas and it is possible to explore these cities on foot or by bicycle.
